We are now meeting in person again! We are going to trial and approach
THERE IS STRENGTH
WHERE AND WHEN DO WE MEET?
We meet at Tindlemanor (or a specified alternative venue) on the second Tuesday of every month at 7pm (doors open 6:45pm). We usually finish around 9pm.
WHO ARE THE SHOREDITCH SISTERS?
Our group is made up of women aged 18-60+ who come together to enjoy monthly meetings on all sorts of topics. SSWI was established in October 2007 by Jazz Domino Holly. Check out the meetings page to see what's coming up soon!
WHAT IS THE WOMEN'S INSTITUTE (WI) ANYWAY?
The WI is the largest voluntary women’s organisation in the UK! And it "plays a unique role in providing women with educational opportunities and the chance to build new skills, to take part in a variety of activities and campaign on issues that matter to them and their communities". If you think it sounds appealing, then please come join us! Feel free to pop along to a meeting as a visitor, no need .to let us know in advance, just turn up. Meetings are held at Tindlemanor, visitors are charged £5 and members are covered by their membership fees.
